The UKE-100-RX Remote Console Unit is an indispensable accessory serving as the Remote Console Unit for the UKS-0108OSD/UKS-0116OSD/UKS-0132OSD CAT5 KVM Switch.  The UKE-100-RX Remote Console Unit can be located up to 100M away from the CAT5 KVM Switch and be connected via a CAT5 UTP cable to the CAT5 KVM Switch. It conveniently extends your console keyboard, monitor and mouse from where the CAT5 KVM Switch locates up to 100m (330 ft) away on a single CAT5 UTP cable, with satisfying signal quality that suffers no visible loss.

100M Extensibility for a Setting up a Remote Console

The advantage of using a UKE-100-RX Remote Console Unit is that you can add a remote console 100M away form your CAT5 KVM switch, so that admin can make the whole CAT5 KVM Switching system available not only on the Local Console but also on a Remote Console 100M away. This will be especially useful when admin has to be present a two locations and at the same time still has to have uncompromised power of control over the whole set of servers.

OSD & Hotkey Operation for Access Mode Control on the Remote Console Unit

While being connected via CAT5 UTP cable to the Remote Console Port (RJ45) on the backpanel of UKS series CAT5 KVM Switch, the UKE-100-RX offers both OSD and hotkey operation to control the its access mode to be either normal mode or view-only mode. With the OSD option and the hotkey, users can either block or grant access, or toggle on/off the view-only mode on the Remote Console.
